Hey, my name’s Amanda! I’m a flute soloist, teacher, and have been teaching online for 10 years.

I founded Flute School because I truly believe in the benefit of learning in a group setting. I teach 2-3 classes per month on flute-specific topics (like tone and embouchure), and give you handouts and guidance to use in your practicing.
​
Also, I know how scary it can be to take lessons. They're pricey, you have to play for feedback for someone, and they're a huge time commitment. We're not about that here. Flute School is supportive, fun, and I guarantee you if you show up you will learn A LOT!

(Specifically, incorrect head joint alignment, not having my bottom lip pursed enough) I can tell my tone improved dramatically during the video!
